ANDRITZ Canada is seeking a Supplier Quality Control Specialist to ensure hydroelectric components meet customer requirements, international standards, and ANDRITZ quality levels. You will analyze technical documents, oversee ITPs, coordinate supplier inspections, and manage quality records for a long-term career within complex projects.

The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and willingness to travel within Canada and internationally.

Qualifications

• Technical education in metallurgy, mechanical, or industrial fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or mechanical manufacturing supervision.
• Strong ability to read mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of CWB, ASME and NACE / AMPP standards.
• Proficiency with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of non-destructive testing (UT, MT, PT).

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Supplier Quality Control Specialist to join our Quality team. Working closely with engineering, procurement, and our suppliers, you will play a key role in ensuring that hydroelectric components and equipment meet customer requirements, international standards, and ANDRITZ’s high standards.

This position is part of a long-term career path within complex and stimulating projects.

The following responsibilities form the core of this role in our Canadian team.

• Analyze technical documents (specifications, drawings, inspection and test plans) to ensure clear and complete communication of quality requirements to suppliers

Technical Skills

• Solid experience in welded assembly inspections
• Knowledge of CWB, ASME and NACE / AMPP standards
• Proficiency with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of non-destructive testing (UT, MT, PT)
• Familiarity with automated measurement systems (CMM, FARO, laser tracker – an asset)
• Strong experience in quality control of machined parts
