Job description

As a supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of employees to ensure that they meet their goals and objectives. You will oversee day-to-day operations and work with team members to maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards. The Supervisor will report to a manager or senior management and will be responsible for managing and leading a team of non-union employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead, manage, and develop a team of non-union employees, ensuring that they work efficiently and effectively to meet their goals and objectives.
  2. Monitor the team's progress and performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing measures to address any issues or concerns.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity.
  4. Ensure that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required standard of quality.
  5. Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
  6. Communicate with senior management and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on team performance and progress.
  7. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, encouraging teamwork and open communication.
  8. Manage and resolve conflicts and issues within the team.
  9. Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures, ensuring that all team members adhere to these standards.
  10. Ensure that approval of time cards is completed daily.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and senior management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards

Preferred:

· 5-7 years of experience as a supervisor within the construction industry
