Job summary

Job description

AFIMAC Canada is seeking experienced Supervisors for upcoming assignments related to labour disruptions, organized protests, and man-made crises/disasters.

This position requires working 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week when assigned to a project.

Compensation includes:

  • $25 per hour before overtime
  • Up to $5,200 bi-weekly (based on 84-hour work week)
  • Paid travel up to 4 hours
  • Hotel accommodation provided when required
  • $30 per day meal allowance when lodging is required
  • Temporary Contracts: 1-120 days

AFIMAC Project Coordinators are deployed to various assignments including:

  • Labour Disruptions
  • Organized protests
  • Man-made crises/disasters (crime scenes, structural fires, etc.)

Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • Supervisory or leadership experience in the security field
  • Experience in military, emergency management, project management, or law enforcement is an asset
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel for extended periods
  • Ability to work 84 hours per week, including weekends and holidays
  • Excellent organizational and computer skills
  • Ability to work in high-stress environments
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Able to deploy on short notice
  • Ability to manage investigators and security personnel in the field
  • Ability to train, motivate, and improve staff performance
  • Ability to professionally manage staff conflicts
  • Ability to work with diverse staff
  • Clean criminal record
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle

Experience:

  • Previous supervisory experience in security is preferred

Language:
