Job summary

Ronald McDonald House Canada is seeking a Partnerships Supervisor to grow its national partnerships program through Gift-in-Kind and corporate donor portfolios. Reporting to the National Partnerships Manager, you will drive engagement, retention, and revenue growth across partners while collaborating with 11 Regional Chapters and internal teams.

Qualifications

Who We Are
Ronald McDonald House Canada is the national foundation of support for 37 program locations across the country, including 16 Ronald McDonald House programs and 21 Ronald McDonald Family Room programs. We work closely with McDonald’s Canada as our largest donor and founding & forever partner. Operating as an essential service in Canada, Ronald McDonald House programs support more than 32,000 families with sick children from over 2,900 communities in an average year. Ronald McDonald House surrounds families with the support and resources they need to stay at the heart of their child’s care.

The Opportunity

The Partnerships Supervisor plays a critical role in growing Ronald McDonald House Canada’s National Partnerships Program through two key streams: national Gift-in-Kind partnerships and a portfolio of corporate donors.

Reporting to the National Partnerships Manager, this role drives value, engagement, retention, and growth across the existing Gift-in-Kind and corporate donor portfolio, currently valued at more than $3M annually, with plans to grow to $4M in three years.

Working closely with 11 Regional Chapters and internal stakeholders, the Partnerships Supervisor delivers meaningful donor experiences, identifies growth opportunities, and builds a strong pipeline of support that advances RMHC Canada’s mission.

You bring experience in corporate partnerships, sponsorship, philanthropy, or Gift-in-Kind programs and understand how to create value for partners and the organization. You have strong stewardship instincts, communicate impact clearly, and identify opportunities to deepen engagement and increase support.

You are comfortable building relationships, developing proposals, managing multiple projects, and collaborating across teams to deliver exceptional donor experiences that drive revenue growth and mission impact.

Duties
Key Competencies
  • Relationship Building & Collaboration: Builds strong relationships with corporate partners, Chapters, McDonald’s Canada teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Business Development & Prospecting: Identifies, qualifies, and cultivates corporate partnership opportunities aligned with organizational priorities and partner interests.
  • Communication: Communicates clearly and connects organizational mission and needs to compelling partnership communications.
  • Sector Knowledge: Understands the non-profit and corporate giving landscape, including philanthropy, sponsorship, Gift-in-Kind support, and cause marketing.
  • Data-Informed Decision-Making: Uses donor, revenue, and engagement data to inform portfolio strategy and relationship management.
Principal Accountabilities

In addition to following McDonald’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

Corporate Partnerships Management & Development
  • Builds, manages, and grows a pipeline and portfolio of national corporate donors by stewarding gifts, qualifying prospects, and advancing relationships through the donor lifecycle.
  • Leads stewardship, engagement, retention, and impact reporting to deepen relationships and support expanded partnership opportunities.
  • Partners with the Manager, Corporate Partnerships to identify growth opportunities and develop tailored cultivation strategies, proposals, and growth plans.
  • Creates presentations, impact reports, and stewardship materials that connect donor priorities to RMHC Canada’s mission.
  • Leads shared stewardship and donor engagement with 11 Regional Chapters to ensure a consistent donor experience.
  • Supports National Mission Partner activations, strategic partnership initiatives, and national fundraising events.
  • Follows AFP, Imagine Canada, and RMHC Canada fundraising standards, policies, and best practices.
Gift-in-Kind Partnerships Management & Development
  • Leads stewardship, activation, and growth of RMHC Canada’s national Gift-in-Kind portfolio, maximizing value and identifying priority growth opportunities.
  • Works with Regional Chapters and internal stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into compelling Gift-in-Kind opportunities.
  • Identifies and qualifies new Gift-in-Kind opportunities aligned with RMHC Canada’s priorities, value proposition, and Chapter needs.
  • Develops category-specific cases for support and engagement strategies that increase impact, utilization, and long-term value.
  • Leads onboarding, stewardship, recognition, and relationship management for Gift-in-Kind partners across the network.
  • Manages the Gift-in-Kind directory and supports tracking, valuation, reporting, and communication of partner contributions.
  • Co-leads the annual Gift-in-Kind Partner Appreciation Event and initiatives that strengthen engagement, retention, and growth.
Data Management
  • Maintains accurate CRM records for donor and prospect activity across corporate and Gift-in-Kind portfolios.
  • Tracks and reports on donor revenue, Gift-in-Kind contributions, engagement, and portfolio performance with National Partnerships and Finance.
  • Uses portfolio data to identify trends, support stewardship planning, inform growth strategies, and measure performance.
  • Prepares reports, briefing materials, and portfolio updates for Chapters, leadership, partners, and stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in fundraising, business, marketing, communications, nonprofit management, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fundraising, corporate partnerships, sponsorship, account management, business development, donor relations, or a related field.
  • Experience building and stewarding stakeholder relationships, with a track record of growing engagement and delivering value over time.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholder groups with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentations, proposals, stewardship reports, and donor-facing communications.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and support decision-making and relationship management.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, able to work independently in a hybrid environment while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, and experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Sound judgment, professionalism, and commitment to ethical fundraising practices.
Salary Range

The expected salary range for this role is $76,799 - $102,398 per year
