Title: Halloween Retail Supervisor (Dartmouth & Halifax)

Job Details

We are seeking experienced leaders with a positive attitude to supervise our temporary Halloween store in Dartmouth or Halifax. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of retail supervisory experience.

Potential for ongoing employment with our holiday division, Glow Gardens, which features the largest indoor holiday lights and family event in Halifax.

Responsibilities:

• Guide and supervise store team members
• Ensure prompt customer service and effective communication
• Answer store phone and provide information
• Respond to and resolve customer complaints
• Ensure correct pricing and display of goods and services
• Enforce safety and security procedures
• Train staff on handling sales procedures

Candidate Profile:

• Experience handling cash and closing
• Enjoy working in retail and with diverse age groups
• Honest, positive, goal-oriented, organized
• Hard-working and hands-on
• Able to lift at least 30 lbs
• Experience with POS software and cash balancing
• Ability to work during downtime
