Job summary

The Armour Group Limited's Refresh Café on the Westway Campus is seeking a Supervisor to manage daily café operations, staffing, budgeting, and floor leadership during service. You will ensure top-notch beverage and food quality and engaging guest experiences.

You will lead and train staff, monitor stock, handle customer inquiries, and uphold standards of cleanliness and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Serve Right Certification is an asset.
• High attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Passionate about customer service.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain professional urgency and momentum.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to engage our guests.
• Experience in a similar environment an asset.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Under the direction of the Manager, Refresh Café is looking for a Supervisor who is accountable for the day-to-day operations of the Café including staffing, cost controls, staff training, budgeting, administration and active floor management during service.

What you will be doing as a Supervisor:

• Supervising and training staff to ensure excellent customer service and product knowledge, as well as ensuring high standard of beverage preparation and presentation;
• Ensuring consistency and high quality of beverages and food products;
• Interacting with customers, addressing inquiries and handling any complaints;
• Monitoring stock levels and keeping waste levels to a minimum;
• Such other related duties and responsibilities as may be required from time to time.
