Applicants must have ACA-CSC DL certification and preferably CSIA Level 3, along with experience in race and coaching roles. The role demands strong communication and customer service skills and requires weekend availability from mid-December to March.

Hourly Rate: $23.27/hr

  • Pay is increased based on experience and certification.
  • Must be able to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) from Christmas through March Break.

The Race Supervisor is accountable for (1) managing daily race training and race day operations and environments, (2) managing schedules and inputting payroll for staff daily and (3) supporting Race Coaches and Race Crew daily with leadership and training.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
  • Work in cooperation with fellow Supervisors to manage and support the coaching staff and ensuring that teams are run efficiently, safely, and effectively, while maintaining excellent levels of service.
  • Meet regularly with the Manager, Race and Events and Assistant Manager, Race and Events, to ensure a clear line of communication has been established on team activities, budget guidelines and performance objectives.
  • The Race Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the daily schedule is accurate.
  • Ensure the overall quality of Race products and delivery by monitoring the on-hill performance of staff, providing feedback and coaching to staff in a timely manner and performing service recovery to guests when necessary.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
  • Must hold a minimum ACA-CSC Development Level (DL) Certified certification.
  • Preferably hold a minimum CSIA Level 3.
  • Willing and able to work outdoors in a variety of unpredictable weather conditions.
  • Previous race, coaching and/or ski instructing experience is a must.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and excellent customer services skills.
  • Must be able to work weekends (Saturdays & Sundays) from mid-December to end of March.
  • Successful applicants (18yrs of age+) are required to provide a Criminal Background Check (Vulnerable Sector Search).
