Position Summary

The Production Supervisor guides and supports the Production team, working with managers and Team Leads to achieve goals aligned with company mandates. This role involves coordinating production resources to meet schedules and inventory requirements, ensuring overall efficiency and effectiveness of production functions.

Duties Include (but Are Not Limited To)
  • Provide training, support, and supervision to team members
  • Conduct performance reviews in a timely manner
  • Assist with recruiting and training new team members
  • Collaborate with other departments for continuous product improvement
  • Ensure safety guidelines are followed when working with hazardous materials, heavy loads, electrical circuits, and equipment
  • Coordinate the movement of finished goods to shipping to meet delivery demands
  • Work with the team to set and achieve production goals, including scheduling resources
  • Coordinate with the Manager, Process Sustaining Engineering for resource allocation
  • Communicate with Planning/Scheduling regarding build priorities and product info
  • Drive performance, productivity, and quality improvements
  • Develop and implement employee development initiatives
  • Conform to Electrostatic Discharge Control (ESD) standards
Position Requirements
  • Typically 3-5 years of supervisory experience
  • Experience in manufacturing roles (Technician or Operator) preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of basic management training
  • Knowledge of manufacturing tools like capacity calculations, resource assignment, defect tracking
  • Basic skills in creating manufacturing tools is a plus
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet creation and formulas (Excel or Libre Office) preferred
  • Knowledge of conflict management and personnel coaching
