PURPOSE OF THE POSITION :

Provide the required leadership to safely implement assigned track construction projects. Provide leadership accountability for safety, service, and productivity.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES :

  • Reports to Manager Production
  • Ensure CPKC regulatory compliance for respective project assignments
  • Investigate failures of CPKC policies, safety practices, and procedures
  • Participate in the development of and implement work processes/changes that achieve continuous improvement
  • Promote and implement the application of CPKC policies, safety practices, and procedures by all direct reports
  • Review planned capital work, confirm material and execution requirements

POSITION REQUIREMENTS :

  • High School Diploma or general equivalency
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Solid understanding of Red Book, SPC's, GEI
  • Capability to lead a project plan/schedule
  • People leadership skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS :

Medical and Drug Testing

This is a safety sensitive position and a successful pre-employment medical assessment including physical, vision, hearing, and a negative company drug test is required. Post-hire qualification drug testing may also be required.
