Responsibilities

The incumbent in this position is responsible for creating an environment that excites both internal and external guests. This role supports the Production Manager with venue production, show advancement, casino VIBE, and related administrative tasks. Key duties include managing correspondence files, contracts, projects, spreadsheets, budgets, scheduling, graphic requests, and general office management.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Foster an atmosphere that encourages guests to choose Hard Rock Casino for gaming entertainment, building and maintaining guest relations, and mentoring team members to deliver superior service.
  2. Assist Production Management with training, enforcing standard operating procedures, internal controls, company policies, and performance standards.
  3. Coordinate with entertainment runners, vendors, and support staff on show days.
  4. Handle office duties such as answering phones, travel arrangements, appointments, visitor greeting, correspondence, meeting minutes, mail sorting, and file management to support efficient operations.
  5. Distribute day-of-show information to relevant departments, catering, and vendors.
  6. Arrange local transportation for artists and crews, serving as an Entertainment Runner if needed.
  7. Maintain relationships with local vendors, hotels, and parking authorities.
  8. Oversee artist catering and green room needs, and facilitate artist meet & greets and merchandise sales.
  9. Build and nurture relationships with celebrities, personalities, and talent representatives.
  10. Monitor and adjust music playlists to suit various events and casino VIBE, understanding RX Music platform.
  11. Proof signage and artwork for production and entertainment needs.
  12. Schedule cleaning and maintenance of production and green rooms.
  13. Participate in meetings, follow up on action items, and attend special event meetings with relevant departments.
  14. Assist with monthly financial reviews, including accounts payable, general ledger, and P&L reports.
  15. Perform work consistently and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  16. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar live music industry role, or a combination of education and experience. A college degree and gaming experience are preferred.


Additional Requirements
  • Obtain and maintain necessary licenses/certifications.
  • Must be at least 19 years of age.
  • Clean driving record; ability to drive a full-sized SUV or 15-passenger van.
  • Adhere to company policies on cell phone usage.
  • Availability to work 75-100 shows/events annually, including load-in/load-out, office hours, meetings, and conference calls.
Knowledge of:
  • Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Initiating, following up, and completing assignments and projects.
  • Understanding of the gaming industry and Hard Rock brand.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Interpersonal judgment and decision-making skills.
Abilities:
  • Effective communication with external contacts and team members.
  • Proficient use of office equipment and computer applications.
  • Reviewing and understanding documentation.
  • Composing and managing correspondence.
  • Flexibility in work shifts and schedules.
  • Comfort working in a lively casino environment with noise and crowds.
  • Performing in fast-paced settings.
  • Professional interface with clients and customers.
  • Standing for long periods; lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions:
  • Work primarily in a regulated environment, with occasional presence on the casino floor with associated noise levels.
