Summary:

The Supervisor acts as a brand ambassador and a “Leader on Duty” in the store, supporting the management team in achieving store performance goals through excellent customer service, product knowledge, and supervisory skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and shopping experiences; acting as a brand ambassador with strong product knowledge.
  • Processing sales transactions accurately and following cash handling procedures.
  • Assisting customers with returns and exchanges.
  • Completing store opening and/or closing procedures.
  • Preparing courier shipments for head office when required.
  • Communicating store information to the District Manager or other departments.
  • Assisting with merchandising, marketing, and visual presentation of the store.
  • Receiving and processing products efficiently while maintaining organization in the backroom.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean store environment and executing housekeeping duties.
  • Following loss prevention policies to secure company assets.
  • Driving sales and leading on the sales floor.
  • Assisting in training and developing sales associates.
  • Overseeing store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, including scheduling.
  • Creating a positive, friendly, and engaging environment for employees.
  • Leading by example, demonstrating company values, and ensuring policy compliance.
  • Contributing to overall store success by achieving related goals.

Experience and Skills:

  • Retail key-holder, team leader, or supervisor experience (asset).
  • High-energy, enthusiastic leadership style.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and customer service skills; ability to motivate others.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs, move fixtures, and stand for long periods, using ladders as needed.

Availability Requirements:

  • Regular work schedule required to remain an active employee.
  • Changes in availability must be approved by the Store Manager and reviewed based on business needs.
  • Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
  • Shifts typically range from 2 to 8 hours; minimum hours are not guaranteed.
