The Role

We are currently searching for a Supervisor, Operations reporting to the Assistant Manager, Operations. This is a Full-Time, Contract opportunity for up to 15 months.

Onsite at the Bolton Distribution Centre

What You'll Be Doing
  • Supervise shift activities within a busy unionized DC environment, ensuring operational, safety, and budgetary efficiencies are met
  • Train new and existing employees, manage performance, and ensure customer service targets and goals are achieved
  • Exemplify the company’s dedication to customer service, while overseeing Inventory, Warehouse Management, Quality Control, SOX, and Audit compliance
  • Must be available to work all shifts in a 24-hour operation
  • Use reporting tools to analyze facility layout and improve efficiencies through effective SKU slotting and pick path optimization
  • Perform ongoing ABC and SKU analysis to maximize space efficiency
  • Manage inventories of full goods and empty containers, ensuring adherence to SOPs, housekeeping standards, accuracy, and inventory loss targets
  • Ensure inventory accuracy by processing cycle counts in SAP, conducting year-end counts, and investigating variances
  • Oversee receiving orders, stock transfers, and reconciliation of discrepancies in daily receiving from brewers
  • Coordinate returns from cross-dock locations and maintain accurate records of shipments and returns
  • Process adjustments/corrections to customer orders and manage dock operations for incoming brewery loads
  • Compile daily reporting and verify paperwork
  • Perform other related projects and duties as assigned
Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Post-secondary education is considered an asset
Experience
  • A minimum of 3 - 5 years of operations experience
  • Previous experience with SAP is considered an asset
  • Previous experience working in a unionized environment would be a strong asset
  • This role requires that you hold a valid "G" class licence

  • The ability to make sound decisions in a timely fashion
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety, Ministry of Transportation and WSIB regulations would be an asset
