The Greater Essex County District School Board is seeking a Supervisor of Payroll for a permanent, full-time position. The ideal candidate will have a relevant diploma or degree, PLP designation, and strong supervisory skills.
The Greater Essex County District School Board is seeking qualified Payroll Professionals who are team-oriented for a permanent, full-time position within the Business Department. Reporting to the Manager of Financial Services, the Supervisor of Payroll oversees the payroll process for all employee groups, ensuring timely and accurate bi-weekly payroll processing in a large multi-union environment. The role involves providing expertise and customer service to internal and external stakeholders, managing multiple deadlines and priorities, and supervising payroll operations to ensure compliance with policies.
Additional skills include excellent organizational, time management, interpersonal, and computer skills (Microsoft Office and other relevant software). Ability to train, lead, and motivate others.
