Note : Although primarily a remote position, attendance at the office may be required for training, meetings, or client interactions with prior notice.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead and champion change initiatives.
  • Mentor and inspire examiners, fostering a strong team environment.
  • Manage coaching, feedback, and performance to ensure service excellence.
  • Assist the Manager of the Public Sector Group as needed.
  • Act as an examiner for Lloyds accounts, ensuring prompt and quality claims service.
  • Manage governmental liability claims and examine complex liability cases.
  • Coordinate with Field Adjusters during investigations.
  • Settle claims directly with claimants or representatives.
  • Oversee claims payments and settlements through trust accounts.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to meet client needs.

Qualifications

  • College diploma or equivalent education / experience.
  • CIP designation is an asset.
  • 7-10 years of casualty claims experience, including professional lines.
  • Supervisory or team leadership experience is an asset.
  • Experience with professional liability and complex coverage analysis.
  • Knowledge of Lloyd’s claims processes is advantageous.
  • Ability to lead adjusters and work collaboratively.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Positive attitude and customer service focus.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and navigating various systems.
