Part-Time Manager Opportunity

About the Role

As a Part-time Manager at Claire's, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting your Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with the achievement of retail store targets by driving sales
  • In the absence of other management, opening and closing the store and ensuring that it trades safely and legally during those times
  • Delivering sales through friendly and efficient customer service
  • Ensuring our customers have a fun and enjoyable shopping experience
  • Demonstrating Claire's products
  • Assisting customers with their queries using your product knowledge
  • Processing store deliveries, visual merchandising, stock takes, markdowns, and promotions
  • Ear piercing (full training provided)
  • Maintaining a presentable and inviting store environment

Qualifications - External
About You
  • Some high school education required
  • Minimum 1 year retail experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Understanding of customer service importance
  • Strong mathematics and reading comprehension skills
  • Ability to stand during scheduled shifts
  • Ability to maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally
  • Capability to bend, stoop, reach, climb ladders and step stools for merchandise placement and customer assistance
  • Ability to operate POS system
