About the position:

  • Assist your store manager and assistant manager with store goals by driving sales.
  • In the absence of another management member, they can open/close the store and are responsible for ensuring that sales are safe and legal.
  • Delivering sales through efficient and kind customer service.
  • Ensuring our customers have a fun in-store experience.
  • Demonstrate our Claire's products.
  • Helping our customers with their questions using your product knowledge.
  • Assist with the process of in-store cargoes, visual merchandising, inventory, markdowns, and promotions.
  • Ear piercing (you will have training).
  • Ensuring that the store is presentable and welcoming to our customers.

About You

  • Secondary education required.
  • At least one year of retail sales experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Understanding the importance of customer service.
  • Good math comprehension and reading comprehension ability.
  • Ability to stand during shifts.
  • Ability to move up to 25 lbs. often and up to 75 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to bend, squat, stretch, climb a ladder or stepladder to arrange merchandise in the store and assist customers.
  • Ability to use a POS system.
