Supervisor - Guest Experience and Ticket Ops X-Train (2 Vacancies) 2025-040

THE OPPORTUNITY AWAITS YOU

The Supervisor, Guest Experience & Ticket Operations is responsible for assisting the Manager and Assistant Manager of Guest Experience & Ticket Operations in leading the day-to-day service delivery in venues managed by Regina Exhibition Association Limited (REAL). This role helps maintain a welcoming and safe environment for all guests by providing leadership through exceptional customer service and upholding venue policies in a friendly, professional, and safe manner. The Supervisor will oversee event day staff and support management with functions such as Ticket Sales, Event Booking, Venue Operations, Guest Experience, and Finance to ensure a professional, organized, efficient, and customer-friendly experience.

What You Will Do

  • Support Guest Experience Management by utilizing Ticketmaster and other ticketing platforms.
  • Assist with ticket builds and purchasing processes.
  • Oversee ticket sales and admission scanning during events.
  • Troubleshoot issues during event execution and document corrections.
  • Manage financial transactions including recording and reconciling vouchers.
  • Maximize sales opportunities through team supervision and additional product offerings.

Provide support to internal and external customers by :

  • Reading tickets and understanding venue layouts.
  • Assisting Guest Relations to ensure valid tickets for entry.
  • Monitoring guest movement for safety and policy compliance.
  • Controlling access to venues and areas.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of ticket troubleshooting processes.

Lead outstanding customer service by :

  • Providing ticket services via inbound calls and follow-ups.
  • Supporting ticket needs and team visibility.
  • Resolving escalated customer issues.

Foster leadership and teamwork by :

  • Creating a supportive environment within the Guest Experience department.
  • Maintaining procedures and systems.
  • Supporting team efficiency and job completion.

Other duties as required.

This is a casual position scheduled according to business needs.

Requirements

What It Takes

  • Certification in Event Management, Project Management, Community Engagement, or relevant experience is an asset.
  • 1-3 years' experience in coordinating and supervising large-scale events or related fields.
  • Experience with CRM and ticketing systems is an asset.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities include :

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Event Pro.
  • Knowledge of event management.
  • Ability to work under stress and multitask.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work irregular hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
