Reporting to the Manager, Civil Design and Contract Administration, the Supervisor, Civil Design provides leadership and technical oversight for the delivery of the Municipality’s Capital Design Program in support of Clarington’s Strategic Plan. The position is responsible for leading a team of professional staff and managing the planning, design, and implementation of municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, sidewalks, storm sewers, bridges, culverts, and streetlighting. Through effective project management, staff development, stakeholder collaboration, and asset stewardship, the Supervisor ensures the successful delivery of capital infrastructure initiatives that enhance service levels, support growth, and maintain the long-term sustainability of municipal assets.
A satisfactory criminal record check and proof of qualifications will be required for the successful candidate.
