Job description

Inventa is a leader in the design, creation, and execution of innovative brand experiences, ranging from large-scale events and national experiential tours to grassroots local executions. Celebrating 29 years in the industry, we are at the forefront of experiential marketing and events.

We are seeking outgoing and energetic Team Leads and Supervisors to lead the Recycle BC Rural Tour this summer! Our team will appear at multiple open-air events from June to September, engaging community members about recycling in BC. Activities include photo opportunities, quizzes to discover Recycling Personalities, and answering questions about recycling.

Ideal candidates will possess strong customer service skills, leadership qualities, and be available for training and shifts. Previous experience in customer service and public relations is required.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Secondary management of the team and liaison with Accounts team, onsite contacts, and clients.
  2. Providing onsite training to Brand Ambassadors.
  3. Delegating tasks and breaks to team members.
  4. Participating in setup and teardown of event footprint and assets.
  5. Managing unpacking and repacking of trucks and assets safely.
  6. Public speaking and addressing large groups, facilitating activities, and delivering key messages.
  7. Maintaining records of interactions and comments.
  8. Managing supplies and maintenance of tour assets and materials.
  9. Driving and managing rental vehicles for events and deliveries.
  10. Representing the program professionally and maintaining a positive attitude.
  11. Ensuring adherence to brand policies and protocols, and taking corrective actions when necessary.
  12. Approving expenses with prior approval, providing mileage documentation.
  13. Performing other duties as assigned.

Mandatory requirements:

  • Ability to lift 30-40 pounds and set up/take down tour elements.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract.
  • Comfortable driving cargo vans over long distances and highways.
  • Own transportation to designated locations.

Schedule:

Training dry run: June 2

Additional compensation includes per diem, hotel, travel rate, and bonus.
