The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members for our Alternative Investment Funds team. Our primary goal is to provide exceptional customer service and administration for our clients' hedge and private equity funds. As a Fund Accounting Supervisor, you will act as an intermediary between the funds and their investment managers and serve as the official record keeper for the funds. You will also train and supervise the accounting analysts on the team. Initially, you will work out of the clients' offices in Stanford, Connecticut.
What you will do:
- Utilize your accounting skills to price and maintain timely records for hedge and private equity holdings using various external pricing resources. Perform reconciliations regarding Net Asset Values and provide accounting reports. Communicate fund transactions and collaborate with internal and external clients to deliver accurate accounting packages.
- Manage the fund's record keeping, support year-end audit engagements in accordance with GAAP, and perform due diligence to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Train and supervise accounting analysts on systems, procedures, and responsibilities. Foster a team environment focused on organization, motivation, and timely delivery of client reports, emphasizing accuracy and quality.
- Communicate with external investment managers regarding fund inquiries, reconciliations, and deliverables, maintaining a high standard of client service.
- Assist the manager with performance appraisals, conduct regular team meetings, and participate in staffing and career development activities.
- Participate in professional development sessions to improve processes and acquire new skills.

What we need from you:
- BA/BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fund services, with preferred alternatives experience.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and driven to meet multiple client deadlines without compromising quality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for client support via email and phone.
- Excellent customer service skills for daily client and service provider interactions.

Compensation:
The salary range is $98,000 - $112,000 annually, plus potential discretionary bonuses subject to company approval.
