Job description

Your next shift could start here!

You know aircraft maintenance. Now, you’re ready to make a broader impact: organizing the work, supporting technicians, making the right calls when things change, and making sure aircraft are returned to service safely and in compliance with all applicable requirements.

At Avionique WAAS Inc., the Maintenance Supervisor is at the heart of our operations. You’re on the floor, close to your team, and in constant communication with Planning and Technical Control.

We’re building a strong team.

We’re looking for someone who understands the reality of working in a hangar, stays level-headed when priorities shift, and knows how to keep a team moving forward without ever compromising safety or quality.

This job is for you if…
  • You’re an experienced AME and ready to take on more leadership on the floor.
  • You know how to prioritize and assign work effectively, even when operational needs change quickly.
  • You make yourself available to your team and aren’t afraid to get involved when a job becomes complex or critical.
  • You can make decisions under pressure while keeping safety, quality, and compliance top of mind.
  • You know how to set clear expectations, follow up, and step in when something needs to be corrected.
  • You want to help build a reliable, skilled team that takes pride in the work it does.
What we bring to the table — for real!
  • Competitive market-based compensation aligned with your experience and licence level.
  • Premiums for aircraft type training and qualifications, because we recognize the expertise that comes with additional certifications.
  • A supervisory responsibility premium tied to your role.
  • Benefits from day one: several insurance options, including dental, disability, life, and paramedical coverage, with an option providing 100% prescription drug coverage and a significant employer contribution.
  • Healthcare wherever the job takes you: 24/7 telemedicine access, wherever you are.
  • Support for your future: a retirement savings plan with company contributions.
  • We invest in your development: an education reimbursement program to help you continue building your skills.
  • We support the people behind the employee: assistance programs for major life events such as births, marriages, and bereavement.
  • A team that knows how to have fun, too: an active social committee with after-work get-togethers, themed meals, and social and sports activities.
  • Stability and room to grow: job security and career advancement opportunities within Groupe Chrono.
Role and Work Environment

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing mechanical maintenance work performed on aircraft.

In practical terms, you plan and assign work, supervise technicians, and provide support when maintenance tasks become more complex. You also ensure that all work is completed in accordance with applicable requirements, within established timelines, and in keeping with WAAS safety and quality standards.

This is a hands‑on leadership role: you keep operations moving while maintaining the level of discipline required in an aircraft maintenance environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and assign work among aircraft maintenance technicians.
  • Supervise the performance of maintenance work and ensure regulatory compliance.
