Job summary

GDI Integrated Facility Services is looking for a temporary full-time on-site supervisor to oversee janitorial staff and ensure safety and customer expectations are met or exceeded. The role involves directing shifts, training personnel, and maintaining inventory across on-site operations in Canada.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of supervisory janitorial experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while upholding high integrity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of janitorial supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and judgment.
• Ability to work independently with high integrity.
• Must pass a Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train the janitorial staff on site.
• Designate shift and area assignments.
• Manage employee relations or performance issues quickly and appropriately.
• Document and report to management or HR.
• Inspect the jobsite regularly to identify quality concerns or project work needed; complete and submit inspection reports.
• Identify and communicate the need for any special project work to management.
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to all customer concerns or complaints.
• Enforce all safety policies and procedures; immediately report and investigate accidents.
• Complete training courses as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
