Key Responsibilities

• Assign delivery routes to drivers respecting current collective agreements.
• Assign pickups from suppliers efficiently, respecting delivery schedules.
• Ensure timely deliveries to customers, optimizing parameters like cubic capacity, reducing overtime, and maintaining service levels.
• Prepare necessary delivery documents (routesheets, bills of lading).
• Plan repairs and preventive maintenance for the fleet in compliance with regulations.
• Manage drivers' driving hours and schedules.
• Coordinate trailer loading with warehouse controllers.
• Produce analysis reports and assist supervisors.

Additional Duties

• Update and review load and operational information from previous shifts.
• Coordinate driver assignments based on load times and availability.
• Manage incoming communications and ensure load completion.
• Organize and consolidate retail and non-retail loads.
• Assign routes to drivers based on operational needs.
• Lead diverse teams fostering inclusiveness and belonging.

• Excellent communication skills with all levels of staff and drivers.
• Quick learner with system proficiency.
• Team player willing to assist others.
• Strong decision-making and customer service skills.
• Transportation experience preferred.
