Job description

St-Marys Cement - Usine Ciment St Marys operates a state-of-the-art cement plant with a reach across North America.

Under the responsibility of the Quarry Director, the mobile equipment mechanical supervisor is responsible for implementing the necessary material and human resources for maintenance and/or repair of machinery, in compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.

  • Plan and coordinate the activity of personnel within the quarry or subcontracted, to ensure the efficiency of mobile equipment maintenance and pumping services;
  • Plan and control maintenance, repairs, and inspections of vehicles, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations;
  • Establish the maintenance budget for mobile equipment while implementing inventory management aligned with service demand;
  • Keep technical records for each machine up to date;
  • Manage procurement for fuel, lubricants, tires, exhaust systems, and other quarry-related needs.

  • Possess a DEC in heavy machinery mechanics and/or experience in budget management, procurement, and maintenance services;

  • Knowledge of GMAO software (SAP) is considered an asset;
