Monarch House is seeking a part-time Supervised Instructor Therapist (ABA) to support clients with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Qualifications

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or willingness to train within 3 months.
  • Criminal record check with Vulnerable Sector Screening required.

Job description

As a Supervised Instructor Therapist (ABA) on our team, you are an integral part of our specialized services for clients with Autism Spectrum Disorders or other developmental disabilities. You will work with an interdisciplinary team of experts to support your clients in achieving their goals. Our commitment to excellence goes beyond the way we serve our communities. Job Details:
  • Job Type: Part-time
  • Salary: From $21-23/hr
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM to 6:45 PM ET (may not be scheduled for all days)
Daily Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and conduct comprehensive (intensive) ABA therapy sessions
  • Collect and graph data
  • Maintain client binders and materials
  • Maintain daily written communication logs with family and other staff
  • Demonstrate therapy sessions to families and other professionals as required
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
  • Uphold Centre policies and procedures
  • Attend training sessions, workshops, online courses, etc., as set out by Monarch House
  • Participate in Monarch House social and public events
Qualifications for Success:
  • Positive attitude, organized, and passionate about learning
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or willingness to complete training for RBT certification (within 3 months)
  • Willing to complete Criminal record check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
