Excel Recruitment is delighted to announce we are recruiting a Supermarket Assistant Manager for our client’s store located in North County Dublin.

We are looking for an enterprising and experienced manager who wishes to advance not only the business but themselves as well. Our client is one of the leading grocery retailers in Ireland with an excellent background in staff retention and progression. If you have a strong retail managerial background this is the role for you!

Roles and Responsibilities as Supermarket Assistant Manager:

• Assisting the Management team in ensuring the successful day-to-day running of the store
• Oversee all the HACCP and Health and Safety procedures to ensure they are always followed appropriately
• Ensuring the store consistently achieves its targets and KPIs
• Reviewing staff performance, creating staff rosters, and ensuring overall high standards of the store
• Constantly looking at innovative ways to increase footfall, turnover, and grow margins
• Manage a large team of staff and having the ability to motivate and lead

Who you are:

• Previous retail management/ supervisory experience in a retail setting
• Excellent team leadership skills
• An ambitious individual with the capacity to drive sales and standards in store
