Job summary

LTL Group in Northwestern Ontario is seeking a Site Superintendent to organize day-to-day project operations, coordinate field staff, and ensure work aligns with plans and specifications. You will drive scheduling and resource planning to meet client needs across multiple sites.

The role demands strong leadership, exceptional communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, with willingness to travel and stay out of town as required.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years progressive experience in the heavy civil construction industry.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Must be able to work independently and in a team.
• Must have strong communication, time management, scheduling and negotiation skills.
• Able to multi task and sustain productivity over long hours in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Track and submit quantities for invoicing.
• Proactively communicate with GC/owner staff, suppliers and engineering re: scope of work and equipment needs.

• Document data to substantiate progress and final payment certificates.
• Obtain and maintain up to date utility locates.
• Prepare job sheets for field staff.
• Other duties as assigned by senior manager.

LTL Contracting is looking to hire a Site Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate day to day project operations and field staff
• Plan and schedule work with operations for available resources to meet client needs
• Ensure work is completed according to plans, standards and specifications
• Track and submit quantities for invoicing
• Proactively communicate and coordinate daily/as needed with GC/owner staff, suppliers and engineering re: scope of work, equipment needed to complete jobs and problem solve
• Trouble shoot field issues on-site to maintain workflow and meet deliverables
• Ensure sufficient data obtained and documented through life of the contract to substantiate contractor's progress and final payment certificates
• Obtain and maintain up to date and accurate utility locates
• Prepare job sheets for field staff
• Other duties as assigned by your senior manager

Qualifications

• Candidates must be open to working as per project requirements (weekends etc) and out of town when required
