Job summary

RECRUITMENT PARTNERS INC. is seeking a Superintendent to oversee underground utility construction projects, including water, sanitary, and storm systems for land development and subdivision work.

You will lead field operations, manage site crews, and ensure safety, quality, and schedules align with project specs and municipal standards. The role requires strong leadership, site management, and the ability to interpret drawings and contract documents, while maintaining effective communication

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of experience as a Superintendent overseeing underground utility construction, land development and subdivision projects.
• Strong knowledge of water, sanitary, and storm utility installation and municipal standards.
• Proven ability to lead multiple crews while managing schedules and resources.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Leadership, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced construction.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with field personnel, project teams, consultants, and clients.
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to adapt to changing conditions and maintain momentum under tight deadlines.

Our client is seeking a Superintendent to oversee the coordination and execution of underground utility construction projects, including water, sanitary, and storm systems, for land development and subdivision projects. This role is responsible for leading field operations, managing site crews, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, municipal standards, and company policies while maintaining quality, schedule, and operational excellence.

Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To

• Lead underground utility construction projects while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule objectives are achieved
• Provide leadership and direction to Foremen and field crews to maintain efficient daily operations
• Manage project schedules, sequencing, quality control, and compliance with drawings, specifications, and municipal standards
• Identify and resolve construction issues while minimizing project delays and operational risks
• Partner with Project Managers and project teams to support successful project delivery
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Lead site meetings, communicate project priorities, and maintain effective coordination with stakeholders
• Complete accurate site reports and project documentation

Your Strengths Include
