We are a seasonal property with positions for housekeepers starting May 7, June 1, and June 15, 2025, until October 2025. For our international applicants, please note we do not have any LMIA spots available at this time.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our housekeeping team at our hotel in the Canadian Rockies. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas to our high standards. The lodge is in a very busy remote location and the cabins are outside with lots of walking each day.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained.
2. Keep your cart stocked and ready.
3. Make beds, change sheets and towels, and restock guest room supplies as needed.
4. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and tubs.
5. Check and refill amenities such as soap, shampoo, and lotion.
6. Report any maintenance issues or damaged items to the supervisor.
7. Follow all health and safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for guests and team members.
8. Assist with laundry or room checking as needed.
9. Daily cleaning of public washrooms in the main lodge.
10. Light cleaning of other areas of the lodge if needed.

Requirements:

1. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred, but not required as we will train the right candidates.
2. Willingness to work outside.
3. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and guidelines.
5. Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs.

Compensation:

Wage: $17-19 plus bonuses. Staff accommodation is available for employees over the age of 18 at $4.41 per day. Completion Bonus: If contract is completed you will receive $1 for every hour worked, plus a bonus that will cover the cost of your rent. Referral Bonus: $500 if both yours and your referral's contract are completed.
