The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with purchases, and maintaining the appearance of the gift shop.Responsibilities:Greet and assist customers visitors to our lodge in the gift shopEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales serviceProvide information about products and servicesProcess sales transactions and handle cash and credit card payments including returns of merchandiseStock and display merchandise under direction of managerMaintain a clean and organized shop environmentCross sell and cross promote hotel and restaurant products and servicesRequirements:Strong customer service skillsExperience in retail sales is an assetHands-on experience with POS transactionsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekendsPhysical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25lbsCompensation:Wage: $17/hr plus commissions (varies from 2% - 5%) .Staff accommodation is available for employees over the age of 18 at $4.41 per day.Bonus: If contract is completed you will receive a bonus that will cover the cost of your rent.Referral Bonus: $500 if both yours and your referrals contract are completed.If you are passionate about customer service and are excited about the opportunity to work in a beautiful mountain setting, please submit your resume.
