Job summary

Activision is offering a 12-week summer internship in Vancouver focused on Tech Design. The program requires current enrollment in post-secondary and graduation between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028, with a mid‑May 2027 start date. In-person internship with relocation support within Canada is available for eligible interns.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C++ (primary) and knowledge of C#, Lua or Python.
• Strong understanding of linear algebra, spatial reasoning, and low-level concepts.
• Experience with Visual Studio and game engines (Unreal/Unity or similar).
• Portfolio or prototypes demonstrating mechanics scripting and playable level flow.
• Familiarity with FPS games and ability to discuss the genre.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a 12-week summer project in Vancouver.
• Work with a team to develop and iterate gameplay features.
• Present and defend design and technical decisions during reviews.
