Nature and Scope
The Innovation Project Assistant - Summer Student provides support to the department by assisting with project initiatives and performs administrative functions while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and careful handling of highly confidential and sensitive information. General Accountability
The Innovation Project Assistant - Summer Student will have the opportunity to gain excellent experience while developing the skills necessary to be successful in their future. The summer student will have an opportunity to improve their teamwork and communication skills, as well as their administrative skills and leadership capabilities. There may be some summer student positions that must meet the following criteria:
Position Requirements: Prior experience working with Microsoft Office suite of programs is an asset. Prior experience working with 3D printers, sewing, electronics, and use of tools in a lab or educational setting is an asset. Working hours may include some evenings and weekends. The successful candidate will be required to provide a cleared criminal record check with vulnerable sector check upon hire.
