SUMMER STUDENT - PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE - 4 MONTH CONTRACT

• Full-time
• Shift: Rotating Shift

*COLLEGE & UNIVERSITY STUDENTS*

Positions pay an hourly rate of $21.75 + $1 Afternoon Shift Premium + 4% Vacation Pay!
• Overtime is paid after 42 hours per week (at 1.5x regular rate)
• Shifts are rotating between Day Shift (6:00AM to 3:30 PM) & Afternoon Shift (3:45PM-1:15AM), every 2 weeks.
• Earn additional $1.00/hr in afternoon shift premium pay.

We are seeking highly motivated summer students with a safety mindset for a 4-month contract (May-September). Duties include assembling, fabricating, inspecting windows and doors, operating machinery, reviewing orders, and preparing products for shipment. You will need to follow safety protocols, keep your workspace organized, and verify quality standards.

• Previous experience in general labour, construction, or manufacturing is an asset but not required
• Ability to stand for 9 hours, lift 30-50 lbs, and handle materials
• Experience with power tools and measuring tools
• Accurate reading of tape measures and basic math skills
• Must be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and eligible to work in Canada (18+)
• Availability for shift rotations, overtime, and Saturday shifts

*Selected applicants will complete a written aptitude test during the interview.*

Schedule:

• Morning, Day, Afternoon, and Evening shifts
• Monday to Friday with Overtime as needed
