General Maintenance – Education Infrastructure

2 Positions

JOB SUMMARY:

The General Maintenance – Infrastructure role involves performing routine maintenance and minor repairs to buildings, facilities, and infrastructure systems. The position ensures the safe, efficient, and clean operation of infrastructure.

POSITION DUTIES:
  1. Disassemble and reassemble furniture
  2. Move office furniture boxes
  3. Perform other duties as required
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
  1. Must demonstrate enrollment as a full-time student in the previous academic year and plan to return full-time in the fall of 2025/2026.
  2. Must be eligible for Sagamok Anishnawbek ISETP program funding (member of Sagamok, valid SIN).
  3. Must have or be willing to obtain First Aid, WHMIS, and Health and Safety training.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. First Aid and CPR certification
  2. WHMIS training
  3. Health and Safety training
  4. Personal Protective Equipment: steel toe boots, safety glasses, gloves

Qualified candidates are invited to submit their cover letter and resumé by June 4.

Preference will be given to students who qualify for the ISET Subsidy Program.
