Job Description
  • Assist with loading and unloading trailers, ensuring proper handling of goods and materials
  • Maintain a clean and organized dock area, including regular sweeping, trash removal, and tidying
  • Conduct routine inspections of dock equipment and report any issues or malfunctions
  • Participate in general cleaning and upkeep of buildings and facilities on the property
  • Help with minor repairs and painting projects as directed by supervisors
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment
  • Collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently and effectively
  • Provide excellent customer service to visitors and clients when interacting on the property
Qualifications

Qualified candidates for the Summer Student Dock/Property Maintenance Worker position should possess the following:

  • Valid G class driver's license
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Proficiency in computer skills and relevant software applications
  • Experience operating a forklift or willingness to learn
