Reporting to Luanne Rediron, the successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, and will assist with a variety of administrative tasks that keep our office running smoothly.
This position is located in La Ronge, Saskatchewan.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls and emails
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Maintain office supply inventory and place orders as needed
- Assist in organizing documents, filing, and data entry tasks
- Use word processing, spreadsheet, and database software to prepare reports, memos, and documents
- Update and maintain log records for fuel and other transactions
- Organize and maintain KPLP’s electronic filing system
- Assist in drafting policies and procedures, as requested by the management team
- Provide administrative support to management and other staff
- Perform other related duties as required

Requirements:
- Must be a current post-secondary student returning to school in the fall
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic office equipment
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Previous office experience is an asset but not required
- Demonstrate ability to foster collaborative relationship within a diverse workforce, have excellent organizational skills and must be willing to work flexible hours (weekends, if necessary)
- Demonstrates reliability, dependability and flexibility
- A valid driver’s license
