Job description

William W. Creighton is seeking to employ a Summer Student for July and August 2025.

Working hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Hourly rate: $21.55

Responsibilities
  1. HR Support:
  • Assist in recruitment activities, including job postings, screening, and interview scheduling.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Support onboarding and orientation for new hires.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to HR and Finance, such as filing, data entry, and record-keeping.
  • Contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures.
  • Organizational Development:
    • Collaborate with staff to understand and document system processes and procedures.
    • Support the creation of digital manuals, guides, and documentation for Creighton activities.
    • Assist in developing onboarding and orientation materials.
    • Document troubleshooting steps and FAQs in collaboration with staff.
    • Ensure all documentation meets organizational standards.
  • Payroll:
    • Assist in preparing and executing payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
    • Help calculate and process salaries, benefits, and deductions.
    • Verify timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies.
  • Accounts Payable:
    • Support invoice processing, verification, and discrepancy resolution.
    • Participate in statement reconciliation, expense tracking, and record maintenance.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide general support to HR and Finance teams.
    • Respond to inquiries and assist employees and team members.
    • Perform data analysis and generate reports as needed.
