Job summary

Baker Tilly Canada is seeking a Summer Student for our Flin Flon office. This role supports assurance engagements, reviews client information, prepares files and performs basic analysis, with growth in knowledge and professional skills.

Ideal candidates are current post-secondary students in business or accounting, with strong Excel skills and excellent written and verbal communication. This is a full-time May–August position in Flin Flon, MB with a competitive remuneration package based on

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Filling an important role in the completion of assurance engagements for a variety of clients directly performing assurance procedures using established processes.
• Review client information and prepare query lists
• Prepare client files in a paperless environment
• A variety of basic analysis on client files
• Growth of your knowledge and professional skill set

A successful candidate will have:

• Be a current student enrolled in a post-secondary institution (business or accounting major).
• Good written and verbal communication skills with individuals at all levels
• Strong analytical skills along with attention to detail and a willingness to learn and develop
• Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel

Your schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
