We have a number of opportunities for motivated and dedicated individuals to join a leading provider of residential summer academic programs for international students in Cambridge. As our client prepares for their Summer 2025 Program, we are supporting with the recruitment of a variety of support-based roles that will cover a range of responsibilities from Student Welfare, Operations, and Communications.
Applications are welcome from individuals with previous experience working with young people, ideally within a residential setting. Your energy, resilience, and enthusiasm will inspire others, as will your ability to navigate through sometimes difficult and complex problems. You will have an easy manner, great empathy, and a wide range of social skills to engage effectively with a diverse audience. Others will have trust and confidence in your judgment, advice, and guidance.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: There are four course programs that run from 4th July to 16th August. Applicants for one, two, or all programs will be considered. On-site accommodation will be provided where required.
SUPERVISOR – As a residential supervisor, your role will be to ensure the smooth and successful running of the summer programs and create a positive, memorable, safe, and supportive environment for all students and staff. You will have direct responsibility for students, which requires staying onsite with them for the duration of the program. Supervisory staff are also expected to have the skills necessary to organize fun, inclusive, and educational activities on campus and around Cambridge in accordance with health and safety guidelines. Supervisors will also help lead and coordinate excursions to various cultural locations across the UK.
OFFICE & OPERATIONS COORDINATOR – As the first port of call in our college-based summer offices, the Office & Ops Coordinator will fulfill essential administration tasks to support the smooth running of the summer school. The role involves fielding inquiries from staff (both academic & non-academic), as well as students, parents, and other key stakeholders throughout the program during office hours.
MEDIA & COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR – The Media & Communications Coordinator’s role is to create and lead an exciting, professional, genuine, and fun buzz throughout the summer that is clearly communicated across all channels to students, parents, and other key stakeholders. You will ensure media and communications are lively and up to date throughout and capture the everyday excitement of the Cambridge summer programs.
