Job summary

District School Board Ontario North East is seeking Summer Learning Program Teachers to deliver interactive lessons in Mathematics and Language for Grades K-6. Positions exist for both in-person and virtual formats, with a total of 56 hours over 15 days. Enthusiastic educators with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

  • Ontario College of Teachers Accreditation is mandatory.
  • FSL qualifications required for French Immersion positions.
  • Preferred qualifications in Special Education and Mathematics.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver interactive lessons in Mathematics and Language for K-6 students.
  • Conduct in-person and virtual learning sessions as per assigned program.

Summer Learning Program Teachers

Anticipated period of assignment: June 30 - July 22, 2025

Vacancy Details: 56 hours in total (15 days with 3 hours per day of learning with students; 7.5 hours prep/marking/communication with families ; 3.5 hours of training to occur Monday June 30th )

District School Board Ontario North East is providing a Summer Learning Program for mathematics and language for students in Grade Kindergarten to Grade 6. The program includes the delivery of interactive and engaging lessons through in-person learning in the Central Region and virtual learning board-wide. Learning will take place 3 hours daily. Positions are subject to student registration numbers.

REMUNERATION: $58.49/hour
