Job summary

A leading educational institution in Ontario is seeking Educational Assistants for its Summer Learning Program, aimed at supporting students from Kindergarten to Grade 6 in mathematics and language. The assistants will engage with students through in-person and virtual learning environments, with a total of 55 hours of work during the assignment period from June 30 to July 22, 2025.

Anticipated period of assignment: June 30 - July 22, 2025

Vacancy Details: 55 hours in total (15 days of supporting students through learning for 3 hours per day; 7.5 hours professional duties; 2.5 hours of training to occur June 30th)

District School Board Ontario North East is providing a Summer Learning Program for mathematics and language for students in Grade Kindergarten to Grade 6. The program includes the delivery of interactive and engaging lessons through in-person learning in the Central Region and virtual learning board-wide. Learning will take place 3 hours daily. Your role would be to support instruction by working with an individual or small groups of students on specific skills. Positions are subject to student registration.

In-Person Learning (Central Region): To support with:

Grade K – 3 Mathematics and Language (English)

Grade 4 – 6 Mathematics and Language (English)

Virtual Learning (Board-wide): To support with:

Grade K – 6 Mathematics and Language (English)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Educational Assistant Diploma

ALTERNATE QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in supporting programming above

REMUNERATION: $24.76/hour
