Description

The Summer Freestyle Centre Facility Attendant is responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of the Summer Freestyle Centre facilities, including the Airbag, Dryslope, Twin Trampolines, and Super Trampoline. This role involves ensuring the facilities are opened and closed properly, monitoring weather conditions, assisting with summer camp activities, and coordinating facility bookings.

What You Will Be Doing

1. Complete daily opening, closing, and safety checks for all relevant facilities.
2. Open and close the Summer Freestyle Centre, Airbag, Trampolines, Dry Slope, and Archery Range facilities.
3. Execute check-in procedures for external clubs, verify waivers and attendance lists.
4. Monitor weather conditions and communicate with relevant parties when closures are required.
5. Assist with summer camp set-up and take-down.
6. Help with administration and coordination of facility bookings, when necessary.
7. Inspect and prepare the airbag and related equipment.
8. Monitor facility usage and check in with coaches throughout their booking.
9. Inspect and communicate needs for the washroom trailer.
10. Perform site maintenance tasks like grass cutting and garbage cleanup.

What You Bring

1. Experience in facility management, building operations, or other relevant fields is required.
2. Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to conduct regular inspections and audits is required.
3. Experience with hand tools is required.
4. CPR/AED certification is an asset.

You Will Be

• Running, walking, and jumping on uneven surfaces.
• Lifting and carrying.
• Outdoor work in a variety of weather conditions.
