As a Summer Temporary Digital Marketing Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping one of our key brand's digital presences in North America. This role involves developing and executing innovative social media and content marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer loyalty, and engagement across various digital channels.

The ideal candidate is skilled at social media marketing, has a solid foundation in content creation, is attune to current cultural trends in better-for-you products, and is skilled with digital media platforms.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, and manage compelling and engaging content across various social platforms with a focus on TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram and consistency across brand websites.
  • Collaborate with internal and external creative teams to support content development, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and voice.
  • Perform social media marketing research including best practices amongst direct to consumer (D2C) personal care and beauty brands.
  • Monitor and engage with online communities, respond to comments, and participate in relevant social media conversations to enhance brand presence and customer loyalty.
  • Research potential brand partnerships, collaborations, campaigns, and giveaways.
  • Work with the Digital Media Manager to set and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, providing detailed reports and insights to brand teams.
  • Engage in project management activities, including maintaining marketing calendars, preparing presentations, and ensuring timely execution of campaigns.
  • Summarize work in final presentation of digital and social marketing insights for your assigned brand and industry.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

Required

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree ideally in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience growing brand social media presence, preferably with accounts that have more than 5K followers

Competencies And Proficiency Requirements

  • Proficient in social media platforms, particularly Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok and creating compelling content.
  • Excellent writing and storytelling for digital channels.
  • Organized and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced setting.
  • Detail the competencies and proficiency levels required for the role in bullet format.
