Job summary

Aramark Canada is seeking a Pantry Administrator to manage suite ordering and billing during events. You will coordinate paperwork, distribute handhelds, and handle phones to ensure a smooth client experience for the admin team.

Responsibilities cover pre-event setup, on-event coordination, and post-event billing accuracy. The role requires independence, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 25 lb, with food handler and alcohol service trainings as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred.
  • Basic math & counting skills required.
  • Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 25lb.
  • Must follow required dress code as assigned.
  • Complete Food Handler and Alcohol Service trainings as required by location.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

Job Description

The Pantry Administrator is the main point of contact for Suite ordering and billing on Event Day. This role is integral to a seamless experience for the client and our admin team. It is primarily focused within the suite pantry keeping an accurate account for all food, beverages, and supplies that enter and exit the pantry. The main responsibilities will include:

Job Responsibilities
PRIOR TO THE EVENT (on event day {2hrs prior to doors)
  • Distribute all necessary paperwork to Suite Attendants
  • Distribute handhelds to Suite Attendants as needed
  • Answers phones in a professional manner (prior, during, and post event).
  • Adjust any orders as needed on event day. Communicate any changes with Managers/Supervisors/Pantry Coordinators
  • Checking in with Management for event details and tasks
  • Assist with printing off all production reports to distribute accordingly for prep & set up
  • Verify orders leaving the pantry for accuracy (before, during, after event)
  • Assist with any suite setups if required
  • ON EVENT DAY - WORK WITH FOH SUPERVISOR AND GATHER ALL SUITE STAFF FOR A SAFETY BRIEFING & EVENT DETAILS FOR THE DAY PRIOR TO DOORS OPENING
DURING THE EVENT
  • Ensure all event day orders are entered into POS accurately
  • Distribute food orders to the Pantry Coordinator or Runners as they print up in the pantry
  • Distribute beverage orders to Runners to accurately fill and deliver to the suites in a timely manner
  • Verify Dessert distribution and ensure it is delivered on time from Pantry or Bake shop. Verify all desserts are labelled appropriately with all known dietary restrictions
  • Communicate with the FOH Supervisor and Manager during the event with any revisions or other pertinent notes and details that everyone should be made aware of.
  • Ensure billing details for clients are executed correctly.
FOLLOWING THE EVENT
  • Clean and organize the POS station for the next event
  • Ensure all handhelds are returned and recharged for the next event.
  • Completed all necessary billing paperwork (must balance to the penny)
  • Complete transfer out processing from designated Pantry (Yellow Dog)
  • Complete all inventory counts for the Pantry
  • Communicate any billing discrepancies with Managers
  • Communicate and missing supplies to Managers/Supervisors
