A leading consulting firm is seeking a SuccessFactor Analyst to manage the performance of complex ERP solutions. The successful candidate will lead projects, collaborate with different stakeholders, and ensure system changes align with government standards. Position Title : SuccessFactor Analyst (Business Analyst)
Scope :
1GX Center of Excellence (CoE) manages and oversees the performance of the Government of Alberta’s (GoA) enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution, 1GX. The CoE has overall accountability for service delivery and contract and vendor relationship management. 1GX is the core ERP solution for GoA functional areas including human capital, time and pay, Employee Central management, and release management. The 1GX CoE also provides strategic leadership for the ongoing enhancement and development of 1GX applications to meet the GoA’s evolving mission and changing business environment.
Reporting to the Manager for their functional specialty area, the Senior SuccessFactor Analyst is responsible for engaging with stakeholders proactively. The role requires applying critical thinking and questioning the solution provider to ensure systems meet client and user needs. Strong project management skills are essential as they lead large, complex projects (e.g., Open Enrollment, T4s, Health Spending Account, API integrations, disclosures) and guide junior analysts. In-depth knowledge of the systems and their utilization is necessary, along with the ability to anticipate issues and develop innovative solutions.
Due to the integrated nature of the 1GX solution, the position operates in a multi-stakeholder environment, collaborating with functional and technical teams within 1GX and across other shared service functions within the GOA under the direction of the Manager. Collaboration with peers in other branches (Change Management, Communications, etc.) is also expected.
The work products from this role impact the entire APS landscape. Some activities target all employees, while others focus on specific sub-sets of 1GX users.
