Job summary

Altis in Toronto is seeking a Success Advisor to support a workforce development initiative at a major airport. You will guide participants from training to placement, coordinating with employers and training partners to create meaningful employment opportunities.

The role involves coaching, resume and interview prep, and leveraging airport-related placements. A Criminal Record Check is required, and a flexible schedule is available within a 37.5-hour workweek.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate job fairs, employer outreach, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Monitor engagement and outcomes to inform program delivery.

Language: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required.


Duration: Contract until June 29, 2027


Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (37.5 hours/week). Flexible schedule available (e.g., 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.).


Background Check Requirement: Criminal Record Check is requried.

Your Responsibilities


  • You'll provide one-on-one coaching and career guidance to participants throughout training, job placement, and the first three months of employment.

  • You'll prepare participants for success by supporting resume development, interview preparation, and airport-specific job readiness workshops.

  • You'll match participants with employment opportunities aligned to their training in roles such as Ramp Agent, Customer Service, retail, hospitality, and other airport-based positions.

  • You'll build and maintain relationships with airport employers to understand hiring needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies.

  • You'll coordinate job fairs, networking opportunities, employer outreach, and community engagement initiatives that connect participants with career opportunities.

  • You'll monitor participant engagement, employment outcomes, and retention metrics, using insights to strengthen future programming.

  • You'll collaborate with community partners and internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless participant experience while developing practical career resources and tools.


Skills and Qualifications


  • 3 to 5 years of experience in career development, recruitment, learning, mentorship, or workforce development.

  • Post-secondary education in a related discipline.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting individuals from diverse and underrepresented communities in achieving employment success.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage employers, community partners, and participants.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation and facilitation abilities.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using technology to support reporting, communication, and program delivery.

  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
