Job summary

Babcock Canada seeks a Sustainment Project Manager to oversee projects in support of Canada’s Victoria Class submarines across locations in Ottawa, Victoria, and Halifax. Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders, preferably naval/marine sector.
• University degree or college diploma in project management or related field; PMP is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage an array of projects in sustainment of Canada’s Victoria Class submarines.
• Lead planning, execution, and close-out of project activities.
• Manage project scope, deliverables, schedules and change control to achieve outputs.
• Develop and lead the implementation of project management plans.
• Coordinate stakeholders and subcontractors to deliver on commitments.
• Ensure active risk and opportunity management to minimize schedule impact and develop recovery plans.
