Description

In this role, you will:

  • Manage an array of projects supporting the sustainment of Canada’s fleet of Victoria Class Submarines.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and close‑out of project activities.
  • Manage project scope, deliverables, schedule, and change to achieve outputs.
  • Develop and lead implementation of project management plans.
  • Manage costs and budgets with stakeholder engagement.
  • Monitor and report on progress through performance‑management tools.
  • Coordinate stakeholders and subcontractors to deliver on commitments.
  • Employ risk and opportunity management to reduce schedule impacts and create recovery plans.
  • Maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Assist with sub‑contract development.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate procedures, safety standards, and local procedures.
  • Maintain Quality and Health & Safety standards and communicate issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
  • 4+ years of experience managing small to medium complexity projects with multiple stakeholders, preferably in the Naval or Marine sector.
  • Recognised university degree or college diploma in Project Management or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in good standing with PMI.
  • Technical knowledge and experience in the Naval or Marine sector.
  • Positivity, resilience, and focus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Eligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance.
