Salary Range: $34.028 - $42.641 hourly, Grade: SGEU.10

The Child and Family Programs Division of the Ministry of Social Services seeks a highly motivated, innovative, and skilled Subject Matter Expert to support testing for the Linkin Enterprise Case Management and Payment system and EBMP project, including data collection and financial reporting. This is a 6-month term position reporting to the Manager of Information Technology and Business Intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review business requirements, develop test plans, create data scenarios, conduct functional testing, and log defects.
  2. Develop and document standards and procedures for the project team, caseworkers, administrative and financial staff, and external partners. Create end-user training guides.
  3. Collaborate with cross-divisional staff to ensure data accuracy within the Linkin system and eORS for reporting and analysis.
  4. Perform SQL script creation, modification, and execution as required.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with CFP case management practices within the Linkin system.
  • Knowledge of CFP policies, payment authority, and business processes.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and IBM COGNOS reporting is an asset.
  • Proficiency with office technology (Word, Excel, SharePoint), communication tools, and screen capture tools.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to deliver presentations effectively to various audiences.
