Compensation & Benefits: $50,000 – $60,000/year (based on experience)

About the Role:

We're on the lookout for a creative and detail-oriented Technical Designer to join our dynamic team! If you're passionate about fabrics, silhouettes, and bringing collections to life, this is your chance to work on meaningful, trend-driven projects that align with our seasonal brand vision.

• Prepare production-ready artwork for AOPs, screen prints, embroideries, and appliqués
• Create detailed technical sketches (black & white) with accurate construction specs
• Revise artwork for production feasibility without compromising design intent
• Compile and send complete tech packs to makers via email and WeTransfer
• Review and approve AOP layouts prior to screen engraving
• Prepare fabric, trim, and component quality samples for Production Coordinators
• Assemble colour cards with actual swatches for internal/external use
• Cut and organize fabric swatches per customer requests
• Handle data entry and assist in package prep for factories as needed
• Maintain a well-organized library of fabrics and components
• Support special projects and one-off assignments when needed

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Technical Designer in the apparel industry
• Strong knowledge of garment construction and fabric types
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Office Suite, and Excel
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a strong eye for accuracy and technical precision
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team
